GEO Upward ("Platform," "we," "us") is operated by La Crown Inc., Fort Wayne, Indiana, United States. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.
1. Information We Collect
We collect different types of information depending on how you interact with GEO Upward.
1.1 Information You Provide Directly
When you use our audit tool, purchase a report, or subscribe to an Upward Page, you may provide:
- Account Information: Name, email address, payment information (processed by Stripe — we do not store credit card numbers)
- Profile Information: Professional bio, photos, tagline, social media URLs, business descriptions
- Audit Submissions: URLs you submit for GEO visibility scanning
- Communications: Messages you send to us via email or support channels
1.2 Information Collected from Public Sources
Publicly sourced information may include: name and professional titles, publicly listed business affiliations, publicly visible follower counts and audience metrics, publicly available professional biographies, and links to public social media profiles and websites.
1.3 Information Collected Automatically
When you visit our website, we may collect: IP address, browser type and version, device information, pages visited and time spent, referring URL, and general location (city/region level, not precise). This information is collected through Cloudflare Analytics and does not use third-party tracking cookies.

We also use information to: detect and prevent fraud or abuse, comply with legal obligations, enforce our Terms of Service, and send transactional emails (reports, billing, account updates). We will never sell your personal information to third parties.
3. AI Processing
GEO Upward uses artificial intelligence services to enhance the Platform. Specifically:
- Anthropic Claude API: URLs submitted to the audit tool may be processed by Anthropic's Claude API to generate AI visibility suggestions and report analysis. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to data processed by their systems.
- AI-Generated Content: Some content on Upward Pages (authority bios, FAQ answers, report analysis) may be generated or enhanced using AI. This content is reviewed for accuracy but may contain errors.
We do not use your personal information to train AI models. Data sent to third-party AI APIs is used solely for generating responses within the Platform.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

Each service operates under its own privacy policy. We select services that maintain appropriate security standards and data handling practices.
5. Data Retention
- Active subscribers: Data retained for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days after cancellation.
- Audit leads: Data retained for 24 months after your last interaction.
- Payment records: Retained for 7 years as required by tax and financial regulations.
- Managed Profiles: Retained until removal is requested by the profiled individual (see Section 7).
- Removed data: Deleted from our active systems within 30 days of removal request. Backup copies may persist for up to 90 days before automatic deletion.
6. Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including: encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), secure database hosting with row-level security policies, encrypted payment processing via Stripe (PCI DSS compliant), access controls limiting data access to authorized systems, and regular security reviews of third-party integrations.
No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights
7.1 All Users
Regardless of where you are located, you have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of the information we hold about you.
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your personal information (subject to legal retention requirements).
- Profile Removal: If you are the subject of a Managed Profile, request its complete removal at any time, for any reason, with no justification required. See our Profile Removal Policy.
- Opt-Out of Marketing: Unsubscribe from promotional emails at any time via the link in any email.
7.2 California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act:
- Right to Know: What personal information we collect, use, and disclose.
- Right to Delete: Request deletion of your personal information.
- Right to Opt-Out of Sale: We do not sell personal information. If this changes, we will provide a "Do Not Sell My Personal Information" link.
- Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

- Right to Object: You may object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Right to Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format.
- Right to Lodge a Complaint: With your local data protection authority.
- Data Transfers: Your data is processed in the United States. By using the Platform, you consent to this transfer.

8. Cookies
GEO Upward uses minimal cookies:
- Essential cookies: Required for the Platform to function (authentication, session management). These cannot be disabled.
- Analytics: We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is privacy-focused and does not use cookies or track individuals across sites.
- We do not use: Third-party advertising cookies, social media tracking pixels, or cross-site tracking of any kind.
9. Children's Privacy
GEO Upward is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that we have collected information from someone under 18, we will delete it promptly. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to active subscribers or by notice on the Platform. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
